This past Saturday was the night! St. Teresa’s 2016 Prom! This year’s prom took place at the always amazing Decatur Club in downtown Decatur. It was a joy to be back in this awesome venue with such amazing staff and they did an excellent job for this high school event!

This year’s prom theme was Masquerade and they decked out the space to match. Complete with a victorian looking archway to walk through, masquerade mask center pieces and a black, white and red color scheme throughout. This year we got to set up our own backdrop area which was kind of nice because it gave me a little creative freedom. Instead of just a solid black backdrop – we ran out and created a gold sequin band for the center to give it a little more glamour and sparkle to really let these guys and gals shine!

We tried to document a little of everything and did our best to get a photo of each group as they walked in for the grand entrance. We made ourselves available for the next few hours in the back room where couples could come see us and get a quick picture taken. And then when they announced the prom court – I headed back out to the ball room to get some shots of the the prom court dance.

Of course – I had to finish the evening with a quick photograph of all my Green Tree Media seniors together. We were missing one of my handsome guys, but it was so nice that all these amazing young people were willing to tolerate my request for a photo.
