National Foodwork Services Grand Opening

So last week I shared a bit of our commercial shoot for National Foodworks Services. Today I’m sharing our event shoot from their Grand Opening on the 19th of April. As you may recall – NFS began renovating the old Brush College Elementary School a little over a year ago, and they are now up and running. NFS will be offering a full range of FDA approved commercial food processing including baking, bottling, freezing and affiliated food processing. NFS will further expand opportunities for small or new food concepts with full scale baking, packaging, storage, and distribution. They are doing a lot of really great and interesting things and it was wonderful seeing the large interest from the greater Decatur community.

The Grand Opening for NFS brought in a lot of media coverage from the radio and television. There were also some very important figures present like Mayor Julie Moore-Wolfe, ADM CEO Juan Luciano and Governor Bruce Rauner. They had tours of the facilities for everyone, samples of the products they currently have running and of course some speaking and a ribbon cutting.

It was a pleasure being present for this event and I look forward to seeing what this new facility might bring to the Decatur community in both jobs and opportunities. Here’s a little peek at the even on April 19th.
