Fall, and October in particular, tend to be the busiest time of the year for us photographers! I haven’t been able to attend the past couple of CILPP meetings due to sessions (yay for my awesome clients). But the annual CILPP Headshot Exchange is definitely a meeting you don’t want to miss! Last year was our first headshot exchange and everyone had so much fun we thought we’d do it again this year! One of the great things about this meeting is it gives us a break from work but still allows the opportunity to have fun with our cameras and get creative!

We met over at Nelson Park in Decatur over by the lake. It was dry but super windy out – so we headed into the Rock Garden to try and get out of the wind. There was about 10 or so of us there for this month’s meeting and we got to have fun photographing each other. When you get a bunch of photographers together and let them run free with their cameras, things can get a little crazy. But crazy is a whole lot of fun and everyone had a blast at this month’s meeting. It’s been fun watching everyone sharing their images from last Monday’s meeting – so today I’m going to share with you just a little peek at some of the shots I got at our CILPPA meeting for October!

I wish we’d had more daylight (and a little less clouds and wind) because I would have loved to photograph more of you. But it definitely leaves me something to look forward to next year!
