So today I get to share the St. Teresa Graduation with all of you! The past couple months have been crazy with everything winding up for this closing ceremony for the senior Class of 2015. I feel so blessed to have gotten to know so many of these young men and women, watching them excel in their sports, their academics, and growing into such fine young people.

We set up a little area in the cafeteria before the ceremony where the seniors could come and have their photo taken in their cap in gown. We also did some quick group shots of the seniors by their grade school: Lourdes, Holy Family, St. Pats, LSA, and the Foreign Exchange Students. And in the blink of an eye it was time for the Graduation ceremony to begin. The seniors got lined up and processed into the gymnasium where all their loved ones were already assembled.

We got to hear from the valedictorian (Joe Good) and the Salutatorian (Bree Tschosik). There was also a Barry Manilow song performed by Joe and a piece played on the strings as well as a song performed by one of the seniors. Then of course, each senior got to walk across that stage and make that transition from being a high school student to becoming a graduate. Four years of hard work culminating in that moment of pride as they received their diploma and walked across the stage.
