Kristina contacted me a couple weeks ago via email asking me about engagement photos. Little did I know I would get to meet them so fast or that I would absolutely love this couple!

I met Kristi & Phil at Allerton Park last Tuesday afternoon, and I realized right away they were happy, quirky, fun-loving people. Which works well for me because if you know me… I’m pretty quirky myself and really enjoying laughing! Needless to say – we pretty much laughed and giggled through the whole session!

If you’ve never been to Allerton Park, you need to go and check it out. It’s a beautiful place! We started off by heading to the white pavilion over by the foo dogs.

I decided to try and be sneaky and take a couple shots through the slat in the spiral staircase. I wish I would have got more of Kristi’s face in this photo, but I absolutely love Phil’s smile in this pic!

We stepped off to the side take some pics on the steps, and I tell Phil “just go ahead and wrap your arms around Kristina,” and this is what he decided to do:

Aren’t they just adorable?! I love ’em!

We had a quick outfit change and then we headed over to the Sunken Garden, but we made a quick stop by the pond to get a quick pic.

In case you haven’t guessed by now… Phil is really good at making Kristi laugh. I can’t even tell you how many photos I got of him making goofy faces. 🙂

Kristi wanted a dip picture – so we attempted it in front of the staircase. Not bad Phil! You didn’t drop her and she didn’t look scared.

Thanks for  letting me take your engagement pics guys! I had an absolute blast spending time with you, and I can’t wait for your wedding next year!
