You may recall that my brother, Joel, and his wife, Stacey, added twins to our family earlier this year. Well this past week, we got to spend a lot of time with these little four-month-old men while their mommy and daddy went on a little trip. August and Shepherd spent the week with their Nonni and Nonno (Grandma and Grandpa) in Decatur, and I did my best to be there to help out, take a few pictures, and send updates to their mommy and daddy.

These little guys had a busy week. They got to spend some time visiting with their great-grandma Rose and her siblings on Wednesday. They even made their first trip to Target with Nonni and me. Because it was so hot outside, they went for a couple strolls with the twins out at the mall during the week. They also met several of my mom and dad’s friends, their cousins and great-aunt Donna and great-uncle Bruce. These little twins got a lot of love this week from a lot of wonderful people.

I’m truly sad to see them go. I’ve had a lot of fun snuggling and loving on these two and I know that it’s probably going to be a while before we get to see them again. So until then… I’ll just enjoy the memories and these pictures of Shepherd and August. Enjoy this little peek into last week’s fun with the twins!
