I may have mentioned previously that I was working on some painting to sell. I started painting for fun a couple years ago when I needed a new creative outlet. Something I didn’t feel constrained by rules because I didn’t know them. And so painting became one of the first steps towards creative freedom. Since then, I’ve continued to paint sporadically. A lot of times it starts up again when someone asks me to paint something for them (usually a family member). While in the midst of working on their piece, I’m reminded of how much fun it is and then I buy several canvases and start creating. Once work picks up in the late spring – I typically don’t have much time for it. But this time of year gives me opportunities to create what I like, which is nice.

I posted on facebook on Sunday that I had some paintings for sale and the response was pretty wonderful. Lots of likes, several shares, and a few purchased already. I’m sharing the paintings I still have (and the three that already sold) below.
