Blake Schoemperlen Senior Portraits | LSA Decatur
I’ve got so many awesome seniors to share with you guys lately! You all know how much I love my high school seniors. Getting to document this exciting time in their lives as they transition from high school to college and start really figuring out who they are and who they want to be is amazing and humbling! Needless to say I was excited to meet Blake, get to know him a little better, and document this milestone in his life!
Blake is one of my LSA High School seniors. He’s a very athletic young man playing on the LSA soccer team, and his true passion – hockey! But he’s also pretty involved at school too! He’s on the homecoming committee this year and he is a part of the yearbook staff which is super cool! On top of all that, he is incredibly responsible and has a job working at Buffalo Wild Wings. Blake is funny, compassionate, hard-working, dedicated, reliable and a ton of fun to be around! So I knew his session was going to be a blast!
We had initially planned to start his session at the Civic Center on the ice since hockey is such an important part of his high school career. But the schedule had a goof up and the ice was occupied – but we made the most of it and headed out to get Blake some fun shots elsewhere! We had some fun downtown first getting into some nitty-gritty locations. Then we headed to Fairview for some more nature like settings.
I had a lot of fun spending time with Blake and his mom and getting to know them both a little more. They are such great people and it was an honor documenting this time for them! Here’s a little peek at Blake’s senior session!
