And the awesome seniors keep coming! I know I said it just this past Wednesday but I love my high school seniors! I have a lot of fun getting to know them and just visiting with them. And I always feel incredibly blessed to be invited to document this fleeting time as they transition from high school to college. Today I get to share the beautiful Carly with you all!

Carly, her mom and sister met me for her pre-session consultation and we chatted for a nice long while. We talked about all our different options and what we might want to do. We ended up deciding that a session at our Kirksville location would suit their needs perfectly. So we grabbed our calendars and found a date that worked for everyone.

Carly is one of my St. Teresa High School seniors. She’s such a sweet young lady. Soft spoken and very bright with the most gorgeous smile – it lights up her whole face! Because we were doing Carly’s session at the studio – I decided to pull out a bunch of different backdrop options for her. We looked at her outfits and then talked about her style and chose a few different backdrops we thought would fit her personality best! We even decided to head outside in our yard for a few fun shots too!

The cloudy day meant we could go pretty much anywhere on my property. There’s this little clump of trees in our yard that I thought would be perfect. So we just headed over there to get a few more nature based shots. Before the session was over, we even managed to get a shot of all three girls together. It made me super happy that her mom and sister were open to doing that because I always think it’s nice to document families!
