The Mayes Family | Fort Daniels, Mt. Zion, IL | Family Photography

November 21, 2011

I was super excited to hear from Amber that she was wanting to get some family photos taken before Jim was sent out overseas again. I love this family! They are so fun, energetic and they are the epitome of cuteness! (Plus I always end up leaving the session wishing I had red hair and freckles 😉 ) We decided to get together at Fort Daniels for their session which sounded great to me! It had been years since I’d been there and it was nice to see the place again.

Amber brought the girls a couple outfits to wear and Jim brought his military shirt and hat so we had fun with the outfit changes, playing in the leaves and wandering down the trails. We even played on the playground a bit!  Well enough of my rambling! Take a peek at this adorable family!

Call me crazy, but I love this picture on the slide! The colors are BOLD and if you ask me… “The family that plays together stays together” 😉

I have to comment on this one too! Kynlee’s boot kept sliding off so Amber was putting it back on and Kynlee wormed her head between her mom’s leg and thigh and she just looked up at me with this BIG blue eyes and I just had to snap this picture. It’s one of my favorites too! 🙂
