One of the things I love about owning my own business is that I have the opportunity to really get to know each and everyone of my clients and take the best care of them I possibly can. If you’re a client of mine – you probably know about some of the many perks I provide my clients that you won’t find from some of the other photographers in the area. My goal – from the moment we first meet is to make sure you feel comfortable and confident that I will take care of you and provide you with products you will love!

The first way I do this is through a Complimentary Pre-Session Consultation. So some of you may be asking, “What is that exactly?” Basically – this is a chance for us to get together and meet in person. We’ll get to know one another and make sure we are a good fit for each other. You know – that you like me haha. Getting your portrait taken can be stressful! The last thing you want is to meet your photographer for the first time the day of our shoot and realize they are blunt, rude, and unpleasant to be around. This takes that concern completely out of the equation for you. And by giving me the opportunity to get to know you before your session – it provides me with an even better chance to capture who you and your family really are in your portraits.

Another reason these consultations are so great is that we get to custom design your dream session right then and there! We’ll talk about whether you have any ideas already and how we can make those ideas a reality. We’ll talk about locations, outfits, and things you might want to include in your portraits like your car or your dog. All of these things can make a huge difference in the overall look and feel of your senior portraits! By getting know you ahead of time and talking about all of the things that are most important to you – we can better meet your hopes and dreams with your session!

It’s also the perfect time to start talking about what products you think you might want. Some of my clients want beautiful wall displays to show off their loved ones. Some want a gorgeously designed album. And still others are simply wanting a few simple prints. Knowing ahead of time what you are wanting to accomplish with your final products makes it so much easier when I’m shooting your session. Because if you only want a few simple prints – I shoot that very differently than if you want one of our awesome custom designed albums.

All in all, I find that these Pre-Session Consultations are one of the key things that make the Green Tree Media Photography experience so special. I’m not making you stand in a line for 15 minutes to get some quickie “meh” photo. I’m taking the time to get to know you and doing everything possible to ensure we capture your loved ones perfectly. That we’re not just freezing a moment in time but capturing who you really are. And I hope that through that first meeting you will feel comfortable trusting me with such an important task.
