Last Saturday I packed up my car and headed up to Bement, IL to capture Steve and Vickie’s wedding. I had been looking forward to their big day since I met them a few months ago. They are such a cute couple. Though they met later in life (through work) you can tell that these two go together like peanut butter and jelly. They just enjoy life and each other and they are truly happy together. … Needless to say – I had a blast that day!

I started the day of taking some shots of the happy couple. We stayed close to the church and just used the church and it’s yard as our backgrounds.

Before we headed inside, Steve and Vickie asked me if I would take some pictures of Steve’s brother’s family. Of course I was more than happy to do so! We got some cute pics of their little family and their sweet 4 month old little angel.

Then it was time to head inside. Steve and Vickie had planned a very small wedding. Short and sweet with the closest family members present.

I think this is my favorite picture from the day. It was just after their kiss – We went outside and they just enjoyed this quiet moment together as husband and wife.

Vickie & Steve – I wish you two many years of happiness. I hope laughter and love continues to fill your home and that you will find comfort, support, and joy in each other.

P.S. I had so much fun with this family – they even asked for a picture with me! I had no idea what they were doing til I viewed the picture later – but I loved this shot of us 🙂
