It was an absolutely perfect day for a senior session when I met the beautiful miss Shelby out at Rock Springs Park in Decatur. I had been looking forward to her session since we first sat down and chatted at her pre-session consultation. This girl is a natural beauty with a smile that could light up any room, beautiful warm amber eyes, and such a bubbly, happy personality! She truly is an awesome young lady!

Shelby one of my LSA seniors so I’ve seen her around school quite a bit. But it’s fun getting to know her even more through her session! She is quite an outgoing young lady. She is pretty athletic so it’s no surprise that she’s on the LSA Basketball team. But she is also a member of Student Government, SADD, and NHS (yet another of my senior smarties!). Outside of school she likes to watch movies (especially action movies), listen to music, shop or play sports, but most of all she likes spending time with her family and friends! Take all that and add that fact that she is really smart and mischievous side too, which makes for this beautiful meshing of super sweet and very clever that is just awesome! Shelby is truly one of a kind!

We had a lot of fun at Shelby’s session! Shelby kept things simple with only a few outfits and few props and we just got to have fun walking around the park finding the perfect spots to really let her shine! (Between you and me – that wasn’t very hard to do. Shelby has a way of shining anywhere!) We talked about school (her favorite subject is History), and our mutual love for the TV show Supernatural (we’re both Dean Winchester fans!), but mostly we just had fun and took some really great portraits to show off Shelby’s awesome!
