Today I actually get to share a sneak peek at my mom and dad’s updated family portraits. We’ve been updating the Pezzelle family portraits every couple of years (with the exception of weddings). Last year we updated the portraits too because we had the addition of August and Shepherd. Little did we know we’d have two new additions to document this year, Marlee & Javin. So we broke tradition and updated the family portraits a year apart this year instead of two.

It was so wonderful that we were all able to get together on a Sunday afternoon to capture these portraits. Joel, Stacey, and the twins had the farthest drive coming from Missouri. Last year we photographed the portraits at Fairview so I thought we’d go ahead and shoot there again this year. The past few years my mom has chosen a palette of blues and browns, but this year she decided to shake it up with some fall colors. It was a little chilly on the Sunday we were photographing and a bit breezy but we made it work and were able to capture some great memories. We even were able to include my grandmother (my mom’s mom) for a few images as well.
