Earlier this year I attended a conference with my dear friend and fellow photographer, Sarah, of Sarah Jane Photography. I went to this particular conference with her to help with her vendor booth. Sarah was 9 months pregnant at the time and it was a big enough event that a few extra hands were nice.

In addition to being an amazing friend and exceptional photographer and business woman – Sarah also has a side business creating backdrops, actions, textures and templates for other photographers. I’ll be honest – I’m a HUGE fan of her BoxDrops backdrops. I borrowed one of her drops late last year for a family session. It was a last minute session and I didn’t have a drop big enough. So being the amazing friend that she is – Sarah let me borrow one.

Using it that one time at that one session – I was sold! I’m officially a BoxDrop fanatic! The Platinum backdrops are my absolute favorite! These drops are made of a jersey material making them not only easy to wash but virtually wrinkle free! Plus any wrinkles that do appear can be instantly stretched out of them with a few little clamps. At this point – BoxDrops are the only backdrops I’ll be buying – and that’s saying something!

Obviously – I really believe in Sarah’s products or I wouldn’t speak so highly of them! I really only advocate products and things that I absolutely love and I honestly can’t say enough awesome things about Sarah’s line of products. So when Sarah asked me if I’d like to be a contributor to her shop – I was honored and excited to come onto the team.

So what all am I sending Sarah? Well she will have card templates, album designs, texture sets, sky overlays, and backdrop designs. I know that Sarah is still working on adding more of my things to her store, but I’m so excited to see my creations in her shop and to work on creating more for her!

Obviously one of my favorite products are her backdrops and I just love that I can now send her designs and have custom made backdrops for my own studio. In fact, I got to use one of my first custom designed backdrops this year for Travist’s senior session. It was simultaneously incredibly surreal and insanely awesome to see one of my paintings blown up into a backdrop sized image. And it really is an awesome and beautiful backdrop!
