Moore Family Photography | Sullivan, IL
I love the families I have been blessed to work with over the years, and I am always honored when I have a new family contact me about family photography. I understand what an important thing this is that we’re documenting. We’re capturing fleeting moments. Family units as they are right now with parents and grandparents and sometimes great grandparents, and little ones crawling or running around. These are special momentary things and we want to freeze them in time so we can cherish them and make them last for generations.
So when Kalyn and her mom, Mary Lou, contacted me about creating portraits for their extended family – I was incredibly touched and thrilled to be a part such a special event. As always, I met with Kalyn and Mary Lou before their session to discuss their plans and ideas for their session. It was so nice chatting with them and getting to know them better.
I got to meet up with the Poland family at Mary’s home over in Elim Springs on a beautiful summer morning. We got lucky that there was plenty of shade on Mary’s property so we could set up the perfect spot for all the group portraits. These ladies and gents took photos like champs too! They all were excellent at following direction and man – do they look good together! We finished up the session with a few quick portraits for Mary Lou’s family over at her house – just around the corner. It was fun to get some pictures of their family too – especially with Mary Lou’s adorable little grandbaby – Evelyn!
It really was such a joy getting to chat with everyone and document these awesome people! So without further ado – here’s a peek at the Moore family!
