I am so excited to introduce you all to Mya! Mya is one of my lovely models this year and I ma so elated to have her! She is such a sweet and beautiful soul, inside and out. And I’m already so enjoying getting to spend time to get to know her better.

I actually decided to change up my model program this year. I so enjoyed working with my models last year and helping them feel really special. But this year I wanted to make it more unique and senior focused. I don’t want the model program to be about me or your clothes. I want it to be YOU focused! I want to have fun together and create art and capture the real you! So that’s how I’m shaping my model program this year.

So for Mya, we started, as always with her pre-session consultation. I love these opportunities to ask questions and get to know each other better. And Mya is really awesome! She’s interested in microbiology, which makes sense since her favorite subject in school is science. She loves playing video games and watching sci fi movies. And this isn’t the first time Mya has been a model. She actually had her modeling debut as an infant for a brochure at St. Mary’s Hospital. So this gorgeous girl is already a pro!

I wanted to do something special for Mya, so I actually made a custom backdrop just for her! A big, awesome flower wall composed of pink and cream peonies. She came all dolled up in an adorable outfit complete with hat! And then we had a ton of fun capturing some fun shots of this brilliant young lady! So it’s my immense pleasure to introduce Mya!
