Marlee’s Nine Month Session | Sullivan, IL
And just like that – we officially have a nine-month-old!! Our little girl is getting to be SO big!! She wants so badly to walk… even though we haven’t quite figured out crawling – she’s become quite the pro at pulling herself up and we’re pretty sure she’ll be walking by her birthday. She’s still quite the talker and has gotten pretty good at mimicking sounds. She also cracks us up with this fake laugh she does when she wants us to know she’s amused (but not actually tickled haha). She’s still an awesome little eater. We started feeding her more chunky foods and she’s really good at picking things up – except she hates when her hands get messy. We’ve officially got two teeth on the bottom too which are definitely helping with chewing. She’s loved when we roll our tongues from a young age so we do it a lot and we’re noticing she’s trying to do it now too! She loves bath time and her rubber duckies. She’s figured out how much fun splashing is and loves to splash like crazy! She hates missing out on anything so we’ve been working really hard on helping her realize she won’t miss anything exciting while she sleeps. She’s super curious about everything and loves to watch us as we do things. We can already tell she’s one smart little lady!
For this month’s photos I wanted to be sure her outfit and backdrop reflected the more January weather. I actually did a little shopping (because what momma doesn’t like to shop for her kiddos) but everyone already had the more spring feeling clothes out. So we stuck to some things we already had in her closet, which was smarter adn better anyway. I loved this white knit tunic top we got her last month so I figured it would be perfect with one of my blue BoxDrops by SJP backdrops. I did try a second outfit, but our little lady was pretty done with having her pictures taken by the point. (Yes – even the photographer’s kid has a point where they are sick of pictures)
We love our little ray of sunshine and feel infinitely blessed to get to be her mommy and daddy. Here’s a peek at Miss Marlee’s Nine Month Sesssion!
