Today I get to share this cute little man with you again! I have been so blessed to get to capture baby Holden’s newborn and three month old sessions already, so of course, I was thrilled to see how much he has grown. Six months is such a fun age! The little ones are sitting up on their own and starting to put weight on their feet but not really moving tons yet. They are super expressive and easily engaged. It’s such a fun age to take their portraits and Holden is no different!

I met Holden, Whitney, and Stacey at Wyman park in Sullivan for Holden’s session on a warm Friday morning. It was a beautiful day! The sun was shining and there was a lovely little breeze blowing through. Plus – Holden was in a great mood – so we couldn’t go wrong! This little man is so super smiley! His giggle could genuinely make the grumpiest person happy – his happiness is so contagious! He has the biggest most beautiful eyes too! And he is such a curious thoughtful little one. I loved watching his interest in the cars and trucks and motorcycles that drove by, his eyes always drawn to them. His mama and grandma are so good with him. They know exactly what to say and do to get him to smile and laugh. And they find the cutest little outfits for him too! (Why shouldn’t baby boys get to where cute things too?)

I so enjoyed sharing Holden’s session with them yesterday and listening to the giggling bursts of joy at seeing all the precious moments I was able to capture for them. At one point Stacey said to me, “I can’t believe how many great smiles you got! I really didn’t think he smiled at all.” I love knowing that I am able to snag these special little moments that flit by so quickly and preserve them for my clients to enjoy forever!
