I got a call last week to see if I would be available to do maternity photos for the Goonan family again. Of course, I was thrilled to do them and so we set up a time to meet at the studio on Friday.

This will be baby number three for Lane and Chris, and with two boys already, Lane is keeping her fingers crossed that this one will be a girl. I’m rooting for her! I think every momma wants at least one little princess in her family.

We started off getting some photos in the studio. I knew we’d want to do some family photos of Lane and all her boys. It’s always fun working with kids because you never know what mood they’re going to be in, if they’re going to play along with you, or if you’re going to struggle through the session trying to get a hint of a smile. But I never seem to have the trouble with Brody and Brock.

Brock in particular is a cheese. The minute I put the camera up to my face, he’s got his camera smile on and he’s ready to go. Brody usually needs some encouragement, but he’s pretty easy to get a grin out of. After we got done with some shots of Lane and Chris together we headed out back to get a few quick outdoor pics before the sun went down.
