I often get asked about what gear I use by clients and other photographers too. When I started I began with a very simple DSLR camera – the Canon Rebel XTi. It was a great little camera and worked really well for me as I was figuring things out. But once I decided to make the leap into the professional world, I realized I needed to be able to have reliable gear that could create the high quality images I knew my clients deserved. So over the past five years I’ve slowly upgraded gear and added equipment and this is currently where I am at with my set up.

Each piece that has a link will take you directly to the Amazon listing for that particular item. I actually use Amazon quite a lot for my business purchases. They have been such a phenomenal resource for me that I made the decision to become an affiliate. So if you do end up actually purchasing any of the below items through Amazon within 24 hours of clicking the link, I do make a very teeny tiny percentage from your purchase (at no extra cost to you).

I only ever share products that I myself use and greatly value so I hope that you’ll find this helpful!
