I wanted to be sure I got this post done today to let you all know that the price change that was going to take place on September 1st is going to be postponed. I’m a crazy person and thought the new home studio would be completely done and ready for clients by the beginning of next month but boy was a wrong! Don’t get me wrong! We’re moved in and able to live fairly comfortable in our new home, but there’s still a lot I want to get done before I’m ready for clients here. Plus, I’ve been re-evaluating how I want to run this business… how well I want to take care of each of my clients and the experience I want to create. See – I’ve got all these big, awesome, grandiose dreams of what I want this business to be and how I want to help people in a different way. I’m really excited about the possibilities ahead of me, but I want to be sure I do this right! So with all this work ahead of me I’ve decided it would be better for everybody to put this shift off until I’m completely ready for it. Right now – we’re projecting that change to take place at the 1st of the year. But I promise to keep you all updated on all of this as things evolve!

I do have some other exciting news! I was asked by my good friend, and fellow photographer, Sarah of Sarah Jane Photography, to take part in a seminar at the Lake of the Ozarks in October! It’s been a couple years since I’ve been able to make it to one of these group photography events so I’m really excited to attend and learn a lot from some really awesome photographers!
