Last Tuesday after my engagement session with Kristi & Phil, I was driving Ryan home from work (we’re down to one functional car right now), and I was chattering away about how much I adored my new clients  – telling Ryan all the reasons why they are SO awesome and how much he would have enjoyed meeting them. I had been talking non-stop for at least 5 minutes when I look over at Ryan and him looking at me with this huge grin on his face…

“What?” I asked.

“What do you mean what? Just look at you?”

I give him a quizzical look, and he proceeds to tell me that he loves this about me. He loves how much I love my clients. That I’m nothing but smiles and laughter during my sessions, and I can’t stop talking about them afterwards. “I love that when I watch you work, I can see how happy you are, how much you love your clients, and how comfortable they are with you… I just really like how happy this makes you.”

I started thinking about it and  he was right…

Every time I come home from meeting one of you, photographing one of you – I can’t stop talking about you. I’m completely and utterly happy when I’m photographing my clients, not stressed, frustrated, or worried. Maybe it’s because I’m doing what I was designed to do… doing something I love, but I like to think it’s because I have such amazing clients!

There isn’t a single one of you that I haven’t absolutely loved photographing and getting to know. I need you to know that YOU are the reason I love what I do. YOU are my inspiration and motivation to keep pursuing this dream of mine. And that I am YOUR biggest fan!
