A Perfect Sunday

Yesterday was a beautifully perfect day! Ryan and I got to sleep in together for the first time in ages. There was nowhere we needed to rush off to … No place we needed to be. We stayed home all day. We cuddled on the couch, loved on our pooches, watched some movies, and just spent the day enjoying each others company, which has become something we don’t often get to do these days.
Truth be told, when you own your own business, it can be hard to draw the line between work life and home life. It is often easy to get caught up in scheduling sessions and editing pictures and taking care of clients, and forget to set aside time to spend with family. It’s one of those things we photographers always need to work it seems, myself included.
So on this cold Monday morning as you look forward to spending time together as a family after work or school tonight – try to remember when you get home how special this time together is & to truly be present in the moment! Happy Monday!
