Cody & Breanna’s Wedding | Decatur, IL | Wedding Photography
I’m so excited to be sharing Cody & Breanna’s wedding with you today! This was a super fun wedding! It was a small and intimate affair that took place in Breanna’s parents’ backyard underneath a very cool tree next to a pond. We were lucky enough to have a little cooler weather on their big day and a wonderful breeze too! The ceremony was sweet and simply and I personally loved Breanna’s & Cody’s vintage and personalized wedding touches. Breanna honestly looked stunning in her lace wedding dress – a dress that looked like it was custom made just for her! And Cody looked ever so dapper in his grey suit!
After the ceremony – we took a quick drive over to Fort Daniels Conservation to snag some photos of just the two of them. The wedding may have been a small one – but their guests were incredibly focused on these two and snapping pictures like crazy. So taking off for the park was a great way to get the happy newly-weds a little more privacy. These two make such a cute couple! And I literally could have taken pictures of them all day!
Ryan, Nick and I were thrilled to be there for their special day! We hope you have as much fun peeking through these photos as we had taking them 🙂 Enjoy!

As always – I caught up with our lovely bride to ask her a few questions about her wedding day. And here’s what she had to say! 🙂
I loved your dress! It just fit you so perfectly! Where did you find it? I’m sure some of my brides would love to know!
I got my dress from Davids Bridal.
Cody looked so dapper in his tux! Where did he find it?
Cody got his suit from H&M.
I loved your bouquet! Who made it?
My mom made my bouquet along with all of the centerpieces.
I also really liked that awesome drawing you had for people to sign! What a cute idea! Where did you come up with that and who made it?
Cody is the one who made the guestbook drawing, we wanted something that we would be able to display in our home to remember our special day.
Is there anyone you’d like to give special credit to for their help putting your big day together?
I’d like to give my mom all the special credit I can, she planned the whole wedding in a month and it wouldn’t have been possible without her!
Is there a detail of your day that you particularly loved or a moment that you will never forget?
The best moment I had was seeing Cody waiting for me. Another special moment was when my dad surprised me with that song.
Now that it’s all over, would you do anything differently?
I wouldn’t do anything differently I loved the whole day and being able to share it with our family and close friends.
Any advice for future brides and grooms?
My advice would be don’t the stress and details of planning make you forget what youre really doing it for; and thats the love you have for one another and the marriage.
Thank you both for inviting us to take part in your big day and helping you capture the awesomeness that is you! We certainly had a blast and I hope you did too! May God bring you many years of joy, happiness and laughter and a full and blessed life!
