I know many of you have been waiting for this… Our Adoption Fundraisers Announcement. I know it’s taken me a couple weeks… one of my girlfriends told me the other day I was either really brave or really crazy for undergoing all this work during the height of busy season – but it seems to be the way I do things so why change now haha. It took me a while to announce these because I initially wanted to try and create something would be perfect for everyone. But I quickly realized that was probably impossible. So instead we picked three things to start with and we’ll see how that goes. This way you have choices to do whatever you would like! So here we go!

GoFundMe
So honestly we were hesitant to set up a GoFundMe. Ryan and I have a hard time asking for help… especially financially. Our parents did a good job raising us to believe you should work for your money. 😉 But after having three people suggest a gofundme page on the first day I announced our adoption. I realized I probably needed to get over myself and provide an option that people clearly were interested in.

I figured quick access to those links might be nice. 🙂 I realize that the number on that page is a large number. To be honest – that total scares me. But the truth is – that’s the minimum cost we are looking at in order to bring our baby home. We are going to do all we can to work hard to raise that full balance, but every little bit will help us get closer to that total!

T-shirts
This was one of the first ideas I found for fundraising for adoption. I love t-shirts myself and I love to design so it seemed like a perfect match. I also love the idea of those who donate, get something in return, and the feeling of community that we all have these same shirts. 🙂 If you’re friends with me on facebook – you may have seen the poll from earlier this week to decide which t-shirt design we’d be going with and between the comments on our post and private message… the winner is… (drumroll please)

Thank you so much to everyone who helped us decide on the design. And I’ll be honest – I’m not upset this is the choice that was made. This is actually our family motto these days. For so long I felt broken on the road of infertility but out of that brokenness so much beauty has come! It’s even on a beautiful sign in our home, a gift from a mystery friend. So I’m really excited about this t-shirt option for all of you! I’m still working on getting this set up – so stay tuned!

Mini Sessions
As a photographer, mini sessions seemed like the natural fundraiser choice for me. I don’t offer them regularly because I’ve never had much success with bookings for them. But I felt like this might be the perfect opportunity to provide that option to people.

This is a deal unlike any I ever offer. With big discounts on the session and the products offered. Photos make the perfect gift for you or for your loved ones. Or you can even use this chance to get your Christmas cards done too! I never offer digitals at this price – so it’s a huge steal! So there it is! The starting point of our fundraising! We are so, SO grateful for any and all support you provide! We cannot begin to tell you how much this all means to us!
