I was super excited when Peggy called me about doing photos for her family. I grew up just down the street from the Devereux family. I remember playing Barbie’s with Megan and watching the Miss America Pageant with the girls. The Devereux family know how to have fun… and they are awesome at sharing that fun with everyone else!

We decided to meet at Fairview Park to get some nice outdoor shots. Of course, we forgot to take into consideration the cicada situation right now. (I am not a fan of these noisy bugs and I’m counting down the weeks until they will be gone again.) Nevertheless, we made it through the whole shoot with no casualties due to bug attacks or running from the locusts. 😉

I love these two! They are just such genuinely good, happy people! And I love how they make each other laugh! (Just look at Jimmy’s ornery grin in the picture below hehe)

Like I said earlier – I grew up playing with Megan and Jill, and I think I was always a bit jealous of them. I never had a sister and they had each other. And the wonderful thing about sisters is you can disagree on everything, tease each other, have a big fight, hurt each other’s feelings….

….. but you still love each other. You’ll get past it and go back to your loving sisterly ways.
