2014 LSA Graduation
As I’m sure many of you know – today is Memorial Day. The day we remember those who laid down their lives so that we might be free. Free to live our lives in comfort and as we wish. It is because of these brave men and women that I’m able to write this post to all of you today and the reason so many of these beautiful young men and women are able to get an education and go on to pursue degrees and careers of their choosing!
With this year coming to a close, it means it’s time for another LSA Graduation. This is such a fun and bittersweet time. I grow so attached to my seniors. I love watching their successes over the year and seeing them in school when I drop by. I’m always so excited to see what they accomplish after graduation – with college and beyond. But I do miss seeing them around.
I was so proud of one of my seniors, Hayley Salefski, on being Valedictorian of her graduating class. She did a wonderful job with her speech, discussing the parallels between graduating from preschool to graduating from high school. We also got to hear from Ashlynn, who was the class’s Salutatorian, who tied together the similiarities of dance with life. Finally, we heard from the class voted keynote speaker, Mr. Salefski. Everyone did a great job on their speeches! And then it was time to watch all the graduates walk across the stage and receive their diplomas!
I want to wish a HUGE congratulations to the graduating Class of 2014! It’s been an absolute pleasure getting to know each and everyone of you. Seeing your accomplishments over the years and seeing the gifted young men and women you have you grown to become! I look forward to seeing all you do and all the places you go!
