Our One of A Kind Flower Wall!
I am super excited to share this little behind the scenes sneak peek with all of you! When Mya met with me about doing her senior session and being one of my models this year. I wanted to do something special. I wanted to create something unique. I see so many photographers do the boho thing with the flower crowns and I didn’t want to just blend into that norm. So instead I decided to create an entire wall of flowers for a backdrop at our Kirksville studio.
I spent a lot of time on this project actually. I had to brainstorm what to affix the flowers to and how to best design it so it could be portable. I went out and bought all the supplies I needed. I think I bought out all of Hobby Lobby’s peony flowers… twice. And then ordered some too. I also had to get a bunch of their moss to create the green patches in my design. And then it was hours of popping flowers off stems, arranging them on the boards, and hot gluing everything down.
It may not be as portable as I’d like it to be, but I’m really happy with the end result. I even put together this video to give you a little taste of the behind the scenes for this cool new backdrop.
Here’s a few quick images we took on this awesome new handmade backdrop!
I had to snag a couple with my pooches… cuz I mean – they’re pretty cute 😉
And why not take a few of myself too while we’re at it.
Well, I hope you had fun checking out our latest backdrop. This is something you won’t find anywhere else! So if you want a chance to have your portraits taken on our flower wall – shoot me a message or give me a call today!
