I am so thrilled to share this sweet and beautiful family with you guys today. When Ryan and I first began exploring our adoption options, Jessa was one of the first people who willingly shared her personal experience and information for us to consider. At the time, Jessa had just become a new mom to sweet little Baron and I was so SO grateful that she was willing to find time to talk to me in all the busyness of new mommyhood.

So to have Jessa contact me about capturing some family portraits for them – well to say I was honored is an understatement! I was humbled and so thrilled to be able to document their cute family of three! We decided to meet up at their own home and use their backyard for their photo session. They have a big yard that opens onto a creek area so it was perfect for family portraits. I loved doing their session this way because Baron is a toddler with his own ideas and wants. This gives him a space where he’s comfortable so we can hopefully see more of who he is in the portraits. And Jessa did such a fabulous job gathering fun things to entertain Baron too – books, bubbles, a teddy bear…
