It’s been a while since I had a What to Wear Wednesday, and I decided with the arrival of these delicious fall temps – it’s time to do a fall fashion feature! Fall is hands down my favorite time of year for so many reasons, but one reason I love fall is I love all the layering options you have this time of year. You can do scarfs and sweaters and boots and boot socks and leggings and the list goes on and on. So as per usual with my What to Wear Wednesday posts – I’m going to show you some super fun options to accessorize your outfits this fall!

Maurices Fall Country in Blush
I feel like this first look is a pretty straight forward and standard fall look for girls. The button down plaid shirt, jeans, ankle boots and an infinity scarf are pretty much “Pinterest Fall Fashion.” I love the idea of having your hair down in some loose curls and maybe some bangly bracelets and dangly earrings. I think another reason I love this look so much for fall portraits is because it feels like something you would wear everyday. And I’m all about creating and capturing portraits that document you as you are.

Maurices Warm Suede Jacket
So I may have seen this awesome suede jacket and those cute fringed ankle boots and felt like I absolutely HAD to make an outfit that allowed me to wear them! I love pairing ankle boots with some cute little socks and Maurices has some adorable knit socks to go with their boots. I felt like this outfit had a really nice warm, earth tone vibe going – so I chose to pair it with a knit green turtleneck. I thought a really simple long necklace would look perfect with the simplicity of the rest of the outfit. And if you really wanted to have fun with the fall theme – wearing a knit beanie that matches your knit socks really pulls everything together.

Maurices Fringed Blanket Cardigan
I’m not gonna lie – I have a thing for long flowy sweaters. So when I saw this awesome fringed blanket cardigan I had to put together an outfit for it too! I decided to pull the teal tone out of the cardigan and put a teal colored tank underneath it. Pair it with some leggings and knee high boots and for fun add some chunky jewelry with turquoise to pull the whole look together! I absolutely Love the vibrant colors in this one! It’s fun and soft and feels like the perfect, comfy, fall look!

Maurices Leather Jacket Look
I started building this look because I felt like leather jackets are kind of a staple wardrobe piece. But as I started pulling pieces together for this look I realized I REALLY love it! Like – I may have to see if I can actually get this in my size! I love soft look of the graphic tee paired with the edgier vibe of the leather jacket and heeled boots. The mint colored scarf further softens it and gives this whole look a really muted palette. And I had to add that awesome wrap feather ring because it just felt like it was meant to go with this look.

Maurices Casual Sporty Look
I always have a senior who is more sporty than girly. So I always like to take a minute to create an outfit option for those girls who aren’t in to that super girly look. I love this one because you could simply wear the printed leggings, turquoise sweatshirt and grey canvas sneakers. Or you could dress it up a little bit with a blush colored scarf and dangly earrings. I pictures this outfit looking super cute with a girls hair pulled up in a messy bun, maybe combined with some of those sporty stretchy headbands. But I love this look for the more casual girl.
