This is the first October that I’ve not had sessions swamping my every Saturday. Between a somewhat freer schedule and my love of fall, we’re taking full advantage and spending time doing fun things together as a family. My parents had wanted to go to the pumpkin patch and it was really nice out htis past Saturday so we packed up and headed down the road for a little outing.

It was actually pretty warm for October, but there was a nice breeze and we arrived earlier in the morning before it got too hot. Since Marlee’s still pretty little, she’s not fully invested in all the activities and things the pumpkin patch hd to offer – but she had a blast walking around and picking up sticks and rocks and tiny squashes. She had fun looking at the animals too – seeing pigs, goat, sheep, chicken, and ducks in real life! I can absolutely see her really loving this every year as she gets older!
