THRIVE February 2016 Shoots
I feel like that last month went by super quickly and here we are with another little peek at some of the shoots I got to do for THRIVE magazine in Decatur last month. If you live in Decatur I’m sure you have seen this awesome entertainment magazine in various places around town. THRIVE does a fantastic job of highlighting upcoming events and spotlighting fun things the whole family will enjoy! I always love working with THRIVE! Not only because the people there are amazing but because it helps me keep in touch with what’s going on in Decatur and I get to find out about some pretty cool things!
This month’s issue features some fun games and activities that happen around town. I love the fact that the magazine highlighted bingo and bunco – because truly these are two games that are played all the time in our town! It was fun heading to an old school friend’s moms house and capturing her perfect little bunco table for the shoot.
I also loved documenting the Graphic Novel Book Club that meets at the library every month! It’s a really cool group! I actually enjoyed the conversation so much I stayed for the whole meeting! Definitely worth checking out if your a fan of Graphic Novels! And lastly – I got to document Jim Barr of the Decatur Chordsmen a local singing group.
So without further ado – here’s a little peek behind the scenes at some of my photographs for THRIVE this past month. Don’t forget to snag a copy to see the latest in the awesome events happening around Decatur. And be on the lookout for the March issue next month! I’m know I’m looking forward to snagging my copy!
