As Ryan and I were going over the plans for the weekend, I reminded him that we have his cousin’s wedding on Saturday. I laughed and teased that I won’t know what to do with myself just sitting at the wedding since I’m not the photographer for Andy and his lovely bride.

Ryan teased right back, “Oh! It hasn’t been that long…”

Silence followed for a few moments as we both thought on this… How long had it been?

I started going through the list in my head… I’ve shot most of my friend’s weddings, it’s been several years since anyone in Ryan’s family or mine has gotten married. We concluded that the last wedding I just went to and didn’t have to do anything at was my cousin, Keith, & Raedena’s wedding, which was in what… 2004?

So it’s been 7 years since I’ve gone to a wedding and not photographed it! … I guess it’s quite possible I might have a breakdown… or I just might sneak in my camera purely to maintain my sanity 😉 But I have to admit, it will be fun to watch someone else do what I’m used to doing myself. Observing how someone else works can be incredibly beneficial, and I’m sure I’ll pick up a thing or two that might help me.

I know this is a short post, but I’ve got a few projects to work on and wedding photos to edit. So I will see you all on Monday. For now… Enjoy this little tid bit:
