Holy cow! Where did January go? I can’t believe the month is over already! I’ve collected all the entries from our last giveaway and will be announcing the winner later today. So keep your eyes open on Facebook and Twitter for our Cozy In For Winter Giveaway.

I was planning on spacing the giveaways out a little more than this, but I’ve learned Prom is coming up faster than I thought. When I was in high school, I made all my dance dresses myself. I was in 4H so it was a sewing project for me, and I wasn’t very girly really. So I’ve been learning a lot about the whole event the past few years. After talking with the lovely and amazing Jo from It’s a Girl Thing downtown, I’m so excited to announce The Prom Princess Giveaway: a gift certificate for $150 towards a 2013 Prom Dress from It’s a Girl Thing.

I personally LOVE It’s a Girl Thing. They have such cute clothes and adorable accessories! I was down there just last week and oohed and ahhed over all the gorgeous dresses they are carrying. Here’s where the learning comes in… Many of the dresses they carry and the ones girls are looking for are dresses you see on the red carpet! I was floored! I had no idea! So obviously – they carry some pretty jaw-droppingly gorgeous gowns!

So here’s the rules. You must be a high schooler attending Prom this year (2013). The gift certificate only applies to a prom dress for this year (2013) and of course, it has to be a dress from It’s a Girl’s Thing. You must be able to go to It’s a Girl’s Thing in downtown Decatur, IL to try one on and select your dress. Please do not sign up for this giveaway if you are not attending a high school prom or if you won’t be able to pick out your dress.
