St. Teresa Decatur Spring Play | The Addams Family
This past weekend was the performance of St. Teresa’s spring play – The Addams Family. Like we did earlier this year, I popped in on Wednesday night for their rehearsal and we captured some pictures for their yearbook.
There is a lot of prep, costuming, and makeup required for this play. Many of the cast were coated in a white paint to fit their role as the Addams family ancestors. There were several girls helping paint other students skin white, helping each other with their make up and so on. It’s fun watching the boys learn about mascara and beauty blenders 😉
Once the cast was all prepped to go – we headed downstairs to the stage. The crew had done a great job of getting everything set up to begin rehearsal. And so like before, we went through the scenes Mrs. Davis wanted captured and had the students act out little sections of them. They all did a really good job of looking the part, listening and performing their roles. I’m very impressed and I’m sure everyone who attended their performance over the weekend had a blast!
Here’s just a little behind the scenes peek at their Wednesday night rehearsal!
