Special Moments with our Amazing Niece
You know… I’m the luckiest aunt in the world! Before my sweet nephews – my auntie-hood started with the most awesome niece I could ever hope for! I cannot even begin to tell you how incredible she is… She is so talented – athletic (she plays softball and runs cross country), smart, musically inclined (she plays the violin), creative, artistic (she’s amazing at drawing), and she loves so many of the same fandoms as us. She’s so easy to talk to and I love every minute I get to spend with her. I wish we lived closer so we could see her more often.
Last week, she got to come down and spend the week with Grandma and Grandpa and we did our best to spend as much time with her as we could! Of course, we celebrated together as a family on Sunday last week when she arrived. On Tuesday, Marlee and I met up with her and Grandma at the Children’s Museum to have some fun. It had been a while since the last time I had been in there and it was fun seeing all the new exhibits. Marlee had a blast running all over the place and checking everything out. She so loves her big cousin and it makes my heart so happy to see them together.
On Wednesday, Grandma took her to the Little Theater near us – so we met up for lunch and then spent the afternoon/evening hanging out. I wish I would have gotten more pictures of our time together but I always try to balance between capturing the moment and living in it. So I thought I’d share a little peek with you of our fun time together with these two girls I love so dearly!
