Showin’ Some Love
July 16, 2010
Happy Friday everybody! This past year I decided I wanted to be more optimistic and one main way I try to do this is by focusing on the positives rather than the negatives. I figured why not carry this over to the blog. So from now on Fridays are going to be dedicated to sharing with you the things that I have been enjoying or loving that week. So here you go! My first week of “Loves” 🙂
* The Canon 100mm Macro Lens
I love this little lens…well it’s not so little, but it does take awesome pictures of very little things. And it does amazing things with shallow depth of field which I love! I’m going to put up a post next week to show you what this awesome lens can do.
* The jilbere de paris Tourmaline Flat Iron
I LOVE this straightener. I have naturally wavy hair and in warm weather I used to have to keep it shorter and just let it do whatever it wanted. But since my dear friend the beautiful Mrs. Meagan Sluder gave me her old straightener – I have been able to straighten my hair in the morning and it stays that way all day. Humid or not. It’s awesome! I love it!
* Vitamin Water Zero
Sometimes I get tired of just plain water and this stuff is delicious with absolutely no calories. And I can buy a case of it at Sam’s Club too!
* Glee
I love this show! Ryan and I started watching it when it first came on and I’ll admit I got somewhat addicted. But I recently got hooked again when my dear hubby let me buy the soundtrack. The poor man has had to listen to Glee music none stop since I bought the cds a couple weeks ago. But it sure brightens my day. 🙂
And the best for last:
* Grandparents
I only have one grandparent left – my super hard working Grandma Rose. Even before I married my hubby, his grandparents took me in as one of their own grandkids. Ryan’s Grandpa George and Grandma Ruby are always happy to see us and super sweet to me. It’s just wonderful having so many grandparents now who genuinely want the best for me.

Well there you have it folks. My first post of loves. I hope you enjoyed it and maybe you’ll start loving some of these things too. 🙂
