I am so excited to share this awesome family with you all today! I was absolutely thrilled when Amy and Erin contacted me about purchasing a family session for their mom for Christmas. Really, I think photographs are one of the best gifts you can give because it’s a chance to get the whole family together and document your amazing bond! My first connection with the Roe family dates all the way back to grade school, when Erin and I were best buds until she changed schools and I lost contact with her for a while. But with the wonderful world of the internet we re-connected a few years ago and it’s such a joy to get to chat with her and work with her and her family.

Kathy is Erin’s mom and she has four kids (all grown up). There’s Ryan, Amy, Nate, and Erin. Kathy also has three sweet grand kids and one more on the way! So that is incredibly exciting too! And of course we cannot forget her furbaby, Pepper, and Erin’s sweet pooch, Peanut. So we had a fun group of people all together in one place to photograph this wonderful thing we call family!:)

We met up at Rock Springs Park in Decatur over Memorial Day weekend. They all did a great job of color coordinating and with such a photogenic group – they made my job easy! We couldn’t have asked for better weather. Not too hot and not too cold. And it was beautifully green everywhere. I had so much fun talking and chatting with this family. I could seriously go on and on all day – but I think I’ll let their portraits do the talking.
