Randy Earl: President-Elect of the NFDA | Decatur, IL | Commercial Photography
Last week, I was asked to come in to Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes in Decatur, IL and take some headshots for Randy Earl as the new president-elect for the National Funeral Directors Association. I’ve met Mr. Earl on several occasions and he has always been an incredibly kind man and easy to talk to.
Randy Earl is the co-owner of Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes. He has been a licensed funeral director for more than 40 years, and received his B.S. in business from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 1963 and graduated from the Kentucky School of Mortuary Science the following year. Earl is committed to the funeral service profession on both a state and national level. He has served the Illinois Funeral Directors Association in a variety of capacities, including secretary, vice president and president of the association’s board of directors.
Since 1883, Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes has provided innovations leading the funeral profession to new levels of service and compassion, and Brintlinger and Earl is focused on service from the heart.
Randy has a steadfast dedication to the American Cancer Society as well. He is past chairman of the Illinois Division of the American Cancer Society. He currently serves as an assembly member on the National American Cancer Society Board of Directors. In October 2008, Earl received the St. George Medal of Honor, the highest award presented to a volunteer by the American Cancer Society.
