I’ve got a bonus post for you guys today! Like I mentioned yesterday, I’ve been blessed to work with a bunch of awesome guys this year and today I get to share another one with you. Nick is one of my St. Teresa senior guys and I was lucky enough to get to photograph his older brother and sister, Michael & Bree, a few years ago. So when his mom called about doing a session for Nick I was elated!

Nick is such a sweet guy! Kind and thoughtful – he’s super enjoyable to chat with and I really liked getting the chance to know him a little more! He’s quite the athlete competing on both St. Teresa’s cross country and track teams. He’s a long distance runner so he tends to run the longer races in track, like the 800 meter, 1 and 2 miles. He’s also really bright! He’s a member of NHS and WYSE so you know this guy is one smart cookie and dedicated to continuing to learn and grow! If that’s not enough, he also works part time at Imboden Creek, which I think is super cool!

We managed to squeeze Nick’s session in right before Thanksgiving, but that also meant it was a bit chillier than our previous sessions. This awesome guy was such a trooper, though! He toughed it out in the cold weather and I did my best to work fast so he didn’t have to be cold for any longer than necessary! I loved that Nick included not only a cross country shirt but also a Cubs jersey and his sweet dog, Winnie! (And Winnie did super good for her part of the session too! I love including fur babies in our portrait sessions!) And before you knew it – we were done and back in the cars where it was warm!
