Yesterday I was lucky enough to be able to take the trip down to Greenville, IL with my family to watch my younger brother, Joel, graduate from college. It was a very nice ceremony in one of the gyms on campus. The only downside is there was no air conditioning in the building and it got very warm, very fast. It was fun seeing Joel’s friends graduate too and watching them receive their diplomas.

It definitely feels like Joel has been at Greenville for four years, and I’m sure, in a way, that he’s glad to be done. But now – change is going to be occurring. Because he’s not only done with college, he’s now going to have to find a job…. something that’s not so easy these days, especially if you’re trying to stay in the same area and get a job in your designated field. I wish you and your friends the best of luck as you move forward Joel! I’m so very proud of you for staying focused on your studies and still be able to play college basketball. I hope you find and succeed at all you endeavor to achieve. I love you bunches!
