Another day and another awesome person to share with you all today! I feel blessed to have gotten to know this young man a little bit over years when I was photographing at St. Teresa. I also had the pleasure of doing family portraits for his family last year as part of our annual holiday minis, which was such a treat! I had to pick on the poor guy a little bit because every time his mom schedules a photo session with me, he gets injured. But he’s such a tough guy – he pushes through and is just the most enjoyable person ever!

As I already mentioned, Michael is one of my St. Teresa senior guys. And as is true for a lot of my St. Teresa guys, he’s super active in sports there. He plays on the varsity football team, which is doing really well this year. I feel so bad that he got injured and is unable to finish out the season for his senior year because that is so not fun! In addition to football, Michael also participates in Track. He runs hurdles and does long jump as well. But his athleticism doesn’t end there – he is also a member of the Decatur Flames Hockey team. But Michael isn’t just an athlete, he is smart, kind, loving, fun, and just such a compassionate soul. I’ve really enjoyed getting to know him!

For his senior session, we met up at St. Teresa to start. We figured this would be the perfect place to capture his love of football and the four years he has spent at St. Teresa. Once we finished up at the school, we headed out to Rock Springs. We really couldn’t have asked for better weather. It was just beautiful out and quite warm for a late October day. I had so much fun walking around with Michael and his mom, talking and capture this amazing young man in his senior portraits!
