As you may know – this year I was lucky enough to partner with the Maurices out at Hickory Point Mall. If you know me at all, you know how much I love this store! They have clothes that fit petite frames and large frames and the styles are similar for both. As a bigger girl – it can be really hard to find cute clothes that fit. Bigger tops often end up being more like ponchos with bold patterns and vibrant colors… and the colors just usually aren’t my style. But at Maurices – the petite sized outfits have a plus size counterpart – which is SO awesome!

So needless to say – I am super excited to be working with them and incorporating their clothing line into my senior sessions. So this was our first time shooting to promote their winter clothing line. Maurices has a lot of super cute muted grey, cream, and blues colored tops out right now. And they have some fun black, teal and burgundy options too for more vibrant clothing options!

As usual – I took my girls in and they had a personal fitting the day before their shoot. They got to try on some new and different outfits and try out some fun new looks. The girls at Maurices did a great job finding outfits that Ashlee, Clair and Hannah all loved! The next day we all met up out at Millikin University to have some fun photographing them in their Maurices looks!

It was super cold but they were all such troopers! They stayed bundled up between their shots. Ashlee brought a big blanket that she shared with the other girls and I made them some hot cocoa for afterwards to warm back up. It was fun watching the girls chat and laugh and have fun together and as always with these model sessions – I had the ever awesome Richard there to get some video for us!

So yay! I get to share this awesome model shoot with Ashlee, Clair and Hannah with all of you today! Give these girls some love because they sure are amazing and I feel super lucky to have gotten to know them this year!
