We are finally getting close to being caught up with Marlee’s monthly photos! And it’s just in time too because we are getting super close to photographing her four month old photos. Each month I try to take pictures of Marlee as she grows and I try to use different backdrops and setups each time. I do always include the little knit bunny to show how much she has changed and grown. This month I wanted to incorporate one of our rainbow backdrops from BoxDrops by SJP. This month I wanted to incorporate one of our rainbow backdrops from BoxDrops by SJP. While I know there are some who might disagree Marlee is very much our rainbow baby. Over the course of our journey we suffered the loss of three babies: 1 through miscarriage and 2 through a scam. So to us she truly is our rainbow after the storm. This also meant I got to use a new rainbow headband custom made by Oh Love Props, which I’m super excited about too.

I got a little overly excited for another prop set that I got from Oh Love Props too and ended up doing an additional set up with the new piece. Marlee looks so cute in yellow it was impossible for me not to take some pictures in the yellow metal drawer with yellow wrap and headband. You’ll notice though that at three months old it’s a lot harder to get baby to sleep for these pictures so she’s awake in all of them. Which is fine by me because I would rather these pictures show who she is and where she’s at this point in her life. And very awake and active is definitely where she’s at!
