Well I’ve got some catching up to do on the sharing sneak peeks into our little family. So let’s start with some of the newborn pictures I took of Marlee. Now you all know that we went to a professional photographer to have our newborn portraits taken. I value photography a great deal and I wanted photographs of not only Marlee but our family as a whole. But that doesn’t mean I didn’t want to take some photographs of our beautiful little girl too!

Once we got home, I pulled out some of my favorite newborn accessories and started pulling together setups for some fun newborn portraits. For years now I’ve been capturing other family’s precious little miracles so it was an absolute joy getting to photograph my own! I had been purchasing newborn pieces for a long time with the hope of one day using them for our future son or daughter. With all the lows in our journey though I had come to accept that I most likely wouldn’t be using them on our child but on a client’s. So to actually have that become a reality was so wonderful and to see our precious little lady in the hats and bows I had set aside was equally wonderful!
