With today’s blog post we are now officially all caught back up on Marlee’s monthly photos! Baby girl turned four months old last Saturday, which meant mama pulled out her gear and props and put together a little mini shoot for our sweet little lady. Four months is a fun age – Marlee is super expressive and interactive which is fun as a parent and as a photographer. We got soem pretty sweet little expressions from her in these photos. I kept it pretty simple for the standard shoot using a grey carpet and brick backdrop. Of course, we included that little knit bunny to show how big she’s getting.

Then for the second part of the shoot I decided to put her in one of my dresses from when I was little. My mom made a lot of my dresses and this is one of those dresses my mom made. I may not big into all the lace and ruffles but Marlee seemed to like it and she does look like a little doll – so it did seem a bit fitting to put her in a frilly doll like dress.
