It seems crazy to think that our sweet little love is five months old yesterday! We can’t believe how big she’s gotten in such a short amount of time and she’s trying to be more and more independent every day! She’s started enjoying little bits of oatmeal cereal and rice cereal. She’s the queen of tummy time and rolls over like a champ, and she’s super close to being able to sit up on her own. She’s grabbing at everything now – especially if it contains food – which makes eating while holding her fun for us. Her favorite toy is an awesome standing activity center her grandma and grandpa got her! She loves the sensation of falling – you know that fun little whooshing thing you do with kiddos – and being upside down. She’s constantly trying to position herself so she’s seeing the world upside down. She’s started to really take an interest in the dogs and loves when they come over to see her – especially our Lucy girl. She reached out to give Lucy pets whenever she’s near. She loves being outside feeling the wind and watching the leaves blow. Oh and we’re full blown teething so that’s fun and means lots of drool haha. We’re enjoying the little moments with this sweet little thing and striving every day to be the parents she so deserves!

As always I try to do my best to capture some monthly photos of this little lady. When I started getting everything ready she was in an awesome mood! But she quickly got bored with the idea of having her picture taken this time. Thankfully, I have some tricks that helped me get a few images that we can have for her five month memories. And when all else failed we headed outside because that’s always her favorite!
