Today is March 12th which means this amazing little lady is already 11 months old! Each month I’m shocked by how fast the time has zipped by but knowing that she’s going to be a year old next month seems absolutely crazy to me! Yet here we are!

Marlee becomes her own little person more and more everyday! She’s always had a ton of personality and her own ideas but now she’s getting more independent too. She’s so darn close to waking – we’re pretty sure it’s gonna happen before or shortly after her birthday. She’s super fast at getting around and is often a baby on a mission – crawling speedily towards whatever she’s ready to play with. Lately that’s been her little push lion toy, her car seat, her play kitchen, or her books.

While I have a tendency to be cautious with the foods I give her, Ryan is the one who discovered she loves flavor! So far her favorite foods have been things he’s made. His an excellent cook – so that’s no surprise. She loved the scrambled eggs with garlic he made her and she licked the plate clean with the meatloaf he made. Those 8 teeth are definitely being put to good use!

She loves music and has started really dancing to the songs she likes. She bounces up and down, swings side to side, and even shakes her booty. It’s seriously the cutest thing! She’s so curious about everything too! She loves playing with zippers and trying to figure out how her buckles. Both the kind you push and the kind used on clothes. She loves playing with the pop socket on the back of my phone. She’s constantly trying to figure out how everything works. It’s a joy to watch!
