Lauren Fisher | St. Teresa Decatur, IL | Senior Photography
Today I get to share the gorgeous Lauren Fisher of Saint Teresa High School and her senior photography session with all of you! I was really excited when Lauren’s mom sent a message my way about capturing Lauren’s senior portraits!
Lauren is an absolutely stunning young lady who attends Saint Teresa High School (my alma mater). There are three things I noticed right away about Lauren when I first met her. First – her big beautiful brown eyes! They’re so warm and friendly! The second thing I noticed was her sweet smile. There’s just something contagious about it. She smiles and you instantly want to smile too! And lastly her long, lean dancer legs! Which leads me to my next fun tidbit about Lauren – she dances! Lauren has been attending the Dance Center for quite a while and her area of expertise and preference is for lyrical dance – which is one of my favorites (to watch – let’s be real – no dancer legs here haha). Even though Lauren is quiet – you can tell she has a real passion for dance – and I think that’s just awesome! Some other things Lauren participates in at school are band, art club, and servium. And when she’s not doing homework, dance or her extra curriculars – she likes to read books like the Hunger Games and Divergent, watch movies and spend time with her friends.
I met Lauren and her mom for her senior photography session at Rock Springs Park on an absolutely perfect fall day! We started off with Lauren all dressed up in her prom dress from last year – a beautiful blue floor length gown! We had some fun with it over by the pond and then we headed to the pine forest with her black dress and denim jacket. I really liked this casual-dressy look back in the very structured space in the pine trees. She also brought what I consider to be a perfect fall outfit – jeans and a sweater. We photographed these in the field for a fun and different look. Then we finished her session with one of her dance costumes! Not knowing a lot about lyrical dance – I asked Lauren to strike some poses based off of her dance moves and asked her to do some leaps and spins too – so we got some really fun shots!
I could go on and on about how much fun I had getting to know Lauren, but instead I think I’ll let you take a peek at a few of her favorites from her senior photography session!
